What is a Wellness Pedicure?
A Wellness Pedicure is an advanced, health-focused pedicure designed to go beyond traditional cosmetic nail care. It focuses on the overall condition of the feet and toenails, including thick or difficult nails, callused or dry skin, and ongoing foot maintenance. Similar in approach to a Medical Pedicure, services are customized to the condition of each client’s feet while remaining within the professional scope of pedicure care.

Prices vary according to the condition of your feet and toenails, services required, and time needed to complete your appointment.

Meet Your Pedicurist
For Aleta Derricho, a pedicure is about more than making feet look good.

Her approach focuses on providing thoughtful, detailed care while helping clients better understand and maintain their feet between appointments.

Through continued education and specialized training, she has expanded her knowledge beyond traditional pedicure services to better serve clients who may require additional attention and a more individualized approach to foot and toenail care.

Her goal is to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, even if they have been embarrassed, frustrated, or hesitant to have someone see their feet.

No two sets of feet are exactly alike—and your pedicure shouldn't be either.

At Tic Tac Tozy Wellness Pedicures, appointments are approached from a foot-care-first perspective.

Instead of choosing a pedicure simply based on a menu description, the condition of your feet and toenails helps determine the care, time, and services needed during your appointment.

Your first appointment also gives us an opportunity to evaluate the current condition of your feet and discuss an appropriate maintenance schedule and home-care recommendations.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

We want every client to receive the appropriate amount of time and attention. Please review the following policies before scheduling your appointment.

$50 Deposit
A $50 deposit is required to reserve your appointment.
​
The deposit is applied toward your final service total and is 100% refundable when you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
​
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit.

A new deposit may be required to schedule another appointment.

Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
​
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or cancelled to avoid affecting clients scheduled after you.
​
If the appointment must be cancelled because of your late arrival, your $50 deposit will be forfeited.
​
If your appointment can still be accommodated, the service may need to be modified based on the remaining appointment time.
​
Acrylic Toenails
Tic Tac Tozy Wellness Pedicures does not remove acrylic from toenails.
​
If you currently have acrylic or acrylic enhancements on your toenails, they must be professionally removed before your appointment.
​
Please do not attempt to aggressively pull or pry acrylic from the toenails yourself.
​
Arriving with acrylic still present may prevent the scheduled service from being performed and may result in the loss of your deposit.

Children & Pets
To maintain a safe, professional, and relaxing environment, please do not bring children or pets to your appointment.
​
Only the client receiving services should attend unless prior arrangements have been approved.
​
Service animals are permitted as required by applicable law.
​
Photography & Documentation
Photos of the feet and toenails will be taken before and, when appropriate, after services as part of client documentation.
​
These images allow us to document the condition of the feet upon arrival, track progress over time, maintain accurate service records, and support appropriate professional documentation.
​
Clinical/documentation photographs are maintained as part of your client records.
​
Photos may be used for advertising, social media, or other promotional purposes without separate permission from the client, but there will be no distinguishing features such as the face or any part of the body identifying the. client.
​
Open Wounds, Active Infections & Other Concerns
Your safety comes first.
​
Certain conditions may prevent us from safely performing a pedicure or may require evaluation by a medical professional before services can continue.
​
If you have an open wound, active bleeding, drainage, significant swelling, unexplained inflammation, suspected infection, or another condition that may require medical attention, please contact us before your appointment.
​
We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or decline a service when performing the service may be unsafe or outside our professional scope of practice.
​
We Do Not Diagnose Medical Conditions
Tic Tac Tozy Wellness Pedicures provides professional pedicure and foot-care services but does not diagnose, prescribe medication, or provide medical treatment.
​
If something is observed that may require medical evaluation, you may be advised to see a podiatrist, dermatologist, primary-care provider, or another appropriate healthcare professional before continuing services.
​
Knowing when not to perform a service is part of responsible foot care.
​
Results & Ongoing Care
Some foot and toenail concerns develop over months or years and may not be corrected during one appointment.
​
Your first service may be the beginning of a foot-care plan rather than the end of one.
​
Depending on the condition of your feet, you may be advised to return for routine maintenance and/or use recommended home-care products between appointments.
​
Results vary based on the condition of the feet, consistency of professional care, home care, lifestyle, and other individual factors.
